| UAW Local 1050 represents 852 active and 655 retired workers of Alcoa Inc., located in Cleveland, Ohio. Our plant is a heavy forge press facility composed of steam, mechanical, and hydraulic presses that range in sizes from 3,000 lbs. to one of the world's largest hydraulic forge presses with a forge pressure of 50,000 tons. We produce forgings as small as four inches to some of the world's largest airframe parts that go on the Airbus A380. We have three core businesses which are, large aerospace, small aerospace, and car/truck wheels. |
